  • The cultivation of sandalwood requires a warm climate. Therefore, a temperature between 12 to 35 degree Celsius is suitable for its cultivation.
  • About 450 sandalwood plants can be planted on one acre of land.
  • While planting sandalwood plants, a distance of 12X15 feet should be kept between them. At the same time, we must sow host plants at a spacing of 4 to 5 feet.
  • Sandalwood plants do not require much water. Its plant needs 2 to 3 litres of water a week.
  • Sandalwood plants should not be planted at the bottom and should not be cultivated in waterlogged places. Instead, maintain sandalwood plants at a height, so there is no water accumulation in the root.
  • For better growth of sandalwood plants, vermicompost and earthworm manure should be added every three to four months. Also, properly spray fertilizer for better growth.
